LOOK Musical Theatre supporters got in some holiday shopping light opera style when they were part of the recent Holiday Supper at the Tulsa Convention Center. Patrons not only had an evening of dining and entertainment, they selected gifts from an auction while listening to violinist Sheri Neubauer.
While guests dined, various LOOK performers entertained, and many with ostrich fans sang “Beautiful Girls” from Sondheim’s “Follies” as a tribute to the late John Carle of Claremore.
LOOK director Eric Gibson introduced performers Christina Hager and Neil Darling, a soprano/tenor duo from New York; Andrea Leap, a soprano from Minnesota; Stephen Dagrosa, baritone from Lawrence, Kan.; and Shannon Unger, a mezzo-soprano on the faculty at Northeastern State University.
Table sponsors included Billie and Howard Barnett, Josie Winter, and John Steele Zink Foundation.
The Barnetts sponsored a table with friends Leigh and Mark Goodson and Gino and Valerie DeMarco. The Winter-sponsored table included guests Nancy and Ray Feldman, Patty and Len Eaton, and Ken Busby and his mother, Dixie.
The Young/Carle table included Susan and Tim Young, Shirley Carle, Carolyn Carle, Douglas Crotty, and Nancy and Paul Bizjack. The table sponsored by the John Steele Zink Foundation included Caroline Abbott, Mary and Mark Barcus, Linda French, and Freida Odell.
Eric Gibson was on piano and Stephen Glasco performed as Ken Brune hosted a special patron party at his home with Sara Arnold, Mary Anne and Budge Lewis, Bill Lohrey, Adele and Rolf Blom, Barbara and Ron Glass, Pattie and David Bowman, Mary and Frank Shaw, Donna and Phil Diggdon, Jill Warnock and Jim Guerin, Leslie Shelton, Sam Brenner and Barbara Rambaugh, Polly and Don Bowen, Jane and David Emanuel, Gina and Mike lodes, Katie and Ron Petrikin, Peggy and Ken Tracy, Nita and Burl Watson, Kay and Franklin Miller, Susan and Bob Rorschach, and Belynda and Weldon Spitzer.
